This has led to the development of a long-term strategic plan for the sport’s growth. Each country has a unique set of circumstances and this presentation might reveal some elements which other regions could incorporate into their own development plans.

In this volunteer role, Hatakeyama is in charge of developing the Long-Term Strategic Plan for JTA. Hatakeyama enjoys playing tennis regularly and participating in club tournaments frequently. For over 30 years, Hatakeyama has been an international investment banker specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Hatakeyama has also advised Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (“METI”) on the devolvement of hostile takeover defence guidelines in Japan.
